St Joseph’s Secondary School is hoping for a win at this year’s Fiji National Schools Swimming Championships.

School Swimming Coach, Esther Malani says they had been preparing for the annual event for the past weeks and is confident about her team’s line-up.

The swimmers have been so committed to their training in the past weeks, I know they are well prepared for this competition,”Malani  says.

“We hope to do more than just compete at this year’s swimming event, I know our swimmers will perform to their best.”

“We are here for the win, I know the competition will be tough and I have faith in my girls and that they will be able to do the damage in their own individual events”.

Malani says she thanks all the supporters for coming out in numbers to support their team.

“And of course to all ex-scholars and supporters out there, please come and cheer on the girls and support our team.”

A total of 256 swimmers will be representing St Joseph’s Secondary School this year.
