The owner of the yacht where cocaine and ammunition was found during a joint drug raid at the Denarau Mariner – appeared in the Lautoka High Court this morning.

She is represented by lawyer Washu Pillay who made a submission for her personal items retained by police in a back pack to be released to the accused if there is no intention of producing the belonging as evidence.

Pillay added that the prosecution told the court that the investigation on Nikolic was completed therefore the police should release her belongings.

Pillay told the court that they will make an application for bail on a later date.

Nikolic will re-appear in the Lautoka High Court on the 17th of July for her mention.​

13 bars of Cocaine weighing 15 Kilograms and Ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of $10 to 15 million US dollars was seized by the authorities.

It is also confirmed that US$15,000.00 undeclared currency, guns and ammunition was detained from the yacht.
