The Minister for Environment Dr. Mahendra Reddy in a press briefing yesterday says that keeping the environment clean is a collective responsibility.
Reddy also launched a revised clean environment policy which will help mobilize and educate the community on the importance of keeping the environment clean and effectively enforce the litter act.
The Ministry aims to work with all stakeholders especially the Youth as Ambassadors for a cleaner Fiji.
The Minister also highlighted that river bank protection works will soon be underway at the Nadakuni River Bank and the Nadaro River Bank.
Seawall construction for the Lamini Village in Taveuni and Namoli Village in Lautoka will soon be underway as well.
