Sally Yee has secured a Japan Olympic Committee and Scholarship worth over half a million per annum.

The scholarship will cater for free education, boarding and table tennis training for her preparation to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

She is the first from Fiji to receive a substantial long term scholarship that includes a full educational component.

Fiji’s youngest ever Olympian- Sally Yee has secured an agreement that is guranteed to secure her future.

After getting the scholarship- Yee will be allowed to attend important qualification and major internationals and regional Table Tennis competitions.

The training in Japan will not only assist her preparation for qualification for the 2020 Olympics but also build up events.

This year has been a great season for Yee having won the Womens singles in the Pacific Cup together with her sister Grace Yee- which caused a biggest upset defeating Australia.

Yee will be departing the country on the 6th of next month after attending the ITTF Oceania Tour in Tonga this weekend.
