Competition gets tough in the primary schools category at the final day of the Fiji National Schools Swimming Championship.

Western schools such as Nadi Airport, Mount Saint Marys and Namaka Public have scooped medals in the two finals that took place a while ago.

Merewai Bai of Nadi Airport School took Gold in the Girls Years 7 and under 100 meters Freestyle final while Niconia Wivou of Fiji Agape came second beating Faith Stevens of IGMS who came third.

NAS also scoopes Gold in the Girls 8 Years old 100 meters Freestyle after Abigail Gonerogo came first while Katelyn Smith came second beating Elizabeth Bobi of Namaka Public School who came in third.

Meanwhile, Nadi Airport School and Mount Saint Marys School are defending champion of the Fiji National Schools Swimming Championship that ends at the National Aquatic Centre in Suva, today.
