Elder says his athletes are in good shape, and will do their best when representing Fiji in next month’s Pacific Games adding that Weightlifting Fiji has a reputation when it comes to regional meet such as the Pacific Games. He adds the athletes will work their best to try and lift that standard – up another bar, next month.

Elder says preparations goes few months back, but is quite thankful to the recent IWF Junior World Championships held in Suva, something that boosted the participating athletes’ preparation for the Pacific Games.
