In the lead up to the issuing of the writ for the general elections, a nationwide voter awareness has begun.
This is the final opportunity for people to update any further details or register to vote in the 2018 General election.
From September 18th, voter awareness teams will be conducting voter education nationwide.
This is the second phase of voter education by the Fijian Elections Office.
This nationwide voter awareness drive will end once the writ for election is issued.
A total of 631 thousand people have registered to vote in this years general election – an increase from 2014 which had 591 thousand registered voters.
This second phase of voter education was launched this afternoon.
