A seven member US Army Team lead by by the Deputy Commanding General for the United States Army in the Pacific- Major General John P. Johnson are currently in Fiji for the first time.
Johnson says they met with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces personnel where discussion were centered on Peace keeping and special military Education for both forces.
The recent Christchurch event was one of the Topics discussed between the two forces.
He also spoke on Future Training’s that both Forces will be undertaking soon which involves jungle warfare and training’s on urban environment.
Johnson is here on a 2 day visit and also had engagements in New Zealand, Australia, and New Caledonia and leaves for PNG tomorrow. The Team is based in Hawaii.
