The Water Authority of Fiji wishes to advise its customers living in the elevated areas in Nasinu that they may experience low water pressure to intermittent supply from this morning (18/07) until further notice.

Affected Areas Include:  All elevated areas in Nasinu  Vesivesi Road  Kinoya Road  Laucala Beach  Kaua Road  Bulei Road  Ratu Dovi Road  Nokonoko Road  Vatuwaqa Area  Grantham Road area  Wainivula Road  Whippy Street

The interruption in supply is due to low inflow of raw water from Waila Raw Water Pumping Station to the Waila Water Treatment Plant, resulting in low water levels to the service reservoirs in Nasinu.

The current water level at the reservoir as of 5:00am this morning (18/07) is 1.14meters. WAF crew members are currently working to get the reservoir refilled.

Meanwhile, the Authority kindly advises its customers residing in the areas above to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water carting trucks have been deployed to service the affected areas.

Water supply is expected to be gradually normalised once water levels in the Nasinu Reservoir improve.

The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
