Two men are in custody at the Totogo Police Station after they were found with substances believed to be drugs over the weekend.

Police say the first suspect a 64 year old man from Lami was arrested by a team of officers on beat patrol near the Suva Library carpark on Satruday night.

A search conducted resulted in the seizure of two small clear bags of white crystal believed to be methamphetamine with a syringe.

The second suspect a 31year old gardner of New Town was also arrested by the same beat patrol team after he was found with 13 bullets of dried leaves inside a peanut butter container believed to be marijuana.

Police have confirmed that the seized substances have been sent for analysis as investigations continue.
