The Tritons Club will be out to set new records at the Fiji Nationals Long Course Swimming Competition, this week.

Fielding less swimmers compared to last year – the team is confident of a strong finish.

Head Coach Susasu Elaisa says they are well prepared geared up for the much anticipated competition.

The Suva based club has recorded a drop in the number of swimmers this year, but that has not dampened their spirits in breaking records.

“We started off with a large number of swimmers and have dropped from past few years but its gradually increasing again.”

The coaches have been working closely with the swimmers to minimize their errors.

The Fiji Nationals Long Course Swimming Competition will begin this Friday and ends on Sunday at the National Aquatic Centre in Suva.
