Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism and Lands and Mineral Resources, Faiyaz Siddiq Koya this afternoon applauded the efforts of ANZ bank whose staff from Australia and New Zealand raised over $100, 000 in funds to go towards Cure Kids Fiji.

Speaking at the end of the ANZ Fiji500 2018th edition, Minister Koya stressed the need for collaboration between Government and the private sector.

“The Fijian Government strongly believes collaboration between the private and public sector is critical for providing a healthy childhood for all Fijian children,” he said.

“By working together, we will understand each other’s issues and effectively address matters pertaining to providing a healthy
childhood for all Fijian children.”

Funds raised from the project would go towards the The Oxygen Project.

The Project is important, as it addresses the pressing and challenging need in the Pacific to ensure, that those needing oxygen and those with severe hypoxic (oxygen-starved) illnesses get all that is needed for them to
survive.
