It’s important for Fiji to remain on top in the Pacific, when it comes to rugby.

Head Coach – John McKee, made the following statement as he plans ahead, for next year’s World Cup, and also the their final test match against Tonga, this Saturday.

The play-off against Georgia last week was a crucial one for the Flying Fijians.

McKee says the victory was a major boost for the team..since they will be meeting again at the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Team officials have been keeping a close eye on the players during recovery sessions after few players received minor injuries in their match last week.

McKee believes the Tongans are better rugby players than the Georgians- and they are expecting a tough showdown.

Fiji will play Tonga at 3pm this Saturday at the Churchill Park in Lautoka.
