Three people will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today, for allegedly robbing three individuals in Suva over the weekend.

Two of the three are in their 20s, while one is a juvenile aged 17 years, and all have been charged with theft.

Over the weekend – officers conducted an operation within the Suva City area, whereby six people were arrested.

Three have been charged, while the others were questioned and released.

Police spokesperson – Ana Naisoro says, they are mindful of the calls to increase visibility and patrols within the city areas, and have taken the necessary steps to do so.

Naisoro says at the same time – officers are also being deployed to conduct mobile and foot patrols, throughout the heavily populated residential areas in the Southern Division.
