The Republic Fiji Military Forces Rugby Team has been once again been crowned the International Defence Rugby Competition champion beating the United Kingdom Armed Forces Rugby Team 31-17 in the final.

The final between RFMF and British Army for the World Cup defense was shifted to another venue.

This was due to the current typhoon moving strongly to Japan and one of the goal post has fallen over and broke in to two.

The 3rd and 4th play-offs between New Zealand Force and France Force agreed to play without any post, so no conversion and penalty kicks.

The RFMF team agreed to do the same play without the posts but the British management prefer the posts.

Both team agreed to move the final to another venue and the RFMF side managed to defend their title winning 31 points to 17 in the final
