It was always a Dream for Beqa lass-Milika Sorowaqa to follow in her mother’s foot-steps and today that Dream of becoming a Police officer became a Reality.

The 19-year-old was among 211 Newly Recruited Police officers that were part of the Police Pass Out Parade at the Nasova Grounds this morning.

While addressing the new Recruits-Nauru’s Police Commissoner-Corey Caleb encouraged all officers that they now have a huge Responsibility ahead of them and encouraged them to do their Best.

Like many other families, the Smile said it all for Sorowaqa and her Family, she was amongst 56 New Female Recruits who were part of the Police Pass Out Parade this morning.  She thanked the support of her family and instructors and encourages  everyone who aspires to join the force to go for it.

For 26-year-old Nadroga Lad-Josaia Domo who scooped the Baton of Honor and Outstanding Performance Medal says its always was a Dream to become a Police Officer. He said all the waking up early, intensive training and running was all worth it in the end.

Officers from Tuvalu and Nauru were also part of the Pass Out Parade.
