SODELPA Party Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka has tendered his Resignation.

The decision was made late yesterday afternoon after the SODELPA Party met to talk about membership fo their Joint Parliamentary Party Committee – consisting of members of the Party Office and Members of the Caucus.

The Party constitution states the leader must resign if the party loses the general election.

Rabuka revealed that he has tendered his resignation however, the party has not accepted it.Rabuka adds they have also considered and agreed with the draft Memorandum of Agreement to guide the working relationship between SODELPA and NFP.

He adds they have also endorsed the Resolution of the Party Caucus as required by the Party Constitution.
