Former Parramatta Eels superstar Semi Radradra won man-of-the-match – and the adoration of northern-hemisphere rugby fans – in the Barbarians’ 63-45 victory over England on Monday morning (AEST).

The flying Fijian set up two tries and scored a brilliant five-pointer of his own with a scything 30m run to cross untouched to heap more pressure on England coach Eddie Jones.

His Toulon team-mate and England exile Chris Ashton, who called Radradra one of the best three players he’s ever played with, scored a hat-trick to send a message to Jones.

Victor Vito touched down twice for the Baa-baas, while Finn Russell, Josua Tuisova, Radradra, Sitaleki Timani and Greig Laidlaw were the other try scorers for the visitors.

Elliot Daly, Piers Francis (2), Zach Mercer, Joe Launchbury and Jonny May managed tries for England – who have now lost four games on the trot.

But the afternoon belonged to Radradra as stunned England fans flocked to Twitter to gush over the former NRL star.
