The 2nd Pacific Feminist Forum will convene over 150 feminists from across the Pacific region this week.
With this years theme: Sustaining Solidarity, building Resistance and Revolution.
Fiji Women’s Rights Movement Executive Director-Nalini Singh says its the coming together of regional feminist and human rights defenders in a safe space to discuss issues, struggles and how it can be addressed and being able to learn from each other.
The event is supported by the Australian Government through the We Rise Coalition, Fiji Women’s Fund, Mama Cash and the UN Women.
The three day event will be officially opened by Minister for Women-Mereseini Vuniwaqa tomorrow at the Pearl Resort.
