Ratu Kadavulevu School walked away from the Powerade Super Deans competition as respected champions.
The Defending champions made a clean a sweep in the finals except for the Under 17 title.
However, the main Under 18 competition saw the Delainakaikai boys proved to be on another level as they thrashed Cuvu College. 20-0.
The final match of the much anticipated Under 18 grade saw a good start from Cuvu after they managed to burst their way in the defending champions’ 22 meter line.
But RKS remained firm in their defence and won possession which led to Sireli Maqala scoring their first try.
They continued breaking the opposing defence line and scored another try to extend their lead!
Player of the match- Jone Vatuwaliwali secured the first half for their team after successfully converting both tries.
RKS led at half-time 12-Nil.
They continued to control the game while Cuvu on the other hand found it difficult to get out of their own 22 metre line
RKS proved too strong in their defense and turned over possession late into the second half and scored 2 more tries through Sireli Maqala and Jone Vatuwaliwali to seal the win for the boys from Delainakaikai.
Meanwhile, Ratu Kadavulevu School has dominated through out the day defending four of their five titles.
The boys from Delanakaikai have defended their titles in the U14,U15, U16 and U19 grades while QVS have won the U17 grade.
