The Radisson Blu Resort Fiji is now on its fourth group of special school recruits with a total of 11 students enrolled so far.
Five students have been hired as full timers at the end of their 6 months training.
The Radisson Blu Resort Fiji says it is focused on proactive measures to assist with employment and growing opportunities for special needs students since the launch of its pilot training program in 2015.
The latest special school training recruits are from the Sunshine Special School in Lautoka.
Three promising and bright individuals have been employed into the Housekeeping and Food and Beverage Department, these trainees are Uraia Raividiniu, Jessica Dunn and Meresiana Salato.
Over the years the Responsible Business Committee have been making several visits to Special
Schools in the Western Division with donations and conducting workshops but will continue to take
bigger steps to integrate special needs students into the workplace.
