Three more officers from China’s Ministry of Public Security have arrived in Fiji for a six-month attachment program with the Fiji Police Force.

The attachment interest, is under the “People to People” exchange program between the Fiji Police Force and the Ministry of Public Security from the Peoples Republic of China.

Commissioner of Police, Sitiveni Qiliho says the partnership is one of the most active in terms of their police to police cooperation efforts, something his organisation are grateful for.

The three officers have experience in economic crime, international law enforcement cooperation, traffic, immigration, peace-keeping and training and will surely have a lot to contribute to the Fiji Police Force, as part of their learning exchange program.

The attachment program will end in March 2019.
