“150,000 Fijians in rural areas now have access to clean drinking water.”

These are the sentiments of Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama as he opened the Natadradave Water Project in Natadradave, Dawasamu, Tailevu.

The PM highlighted that the Fijian government has open several water projects in recent weeks throughout the country and believes that access to clean water for people is absolutely fundamental to the future development and the prosperity of Fijian people.

He also said tens and thousands in rural pockets of Fiji know the feeling of joy and security brought by seeing clean water when they open the tap.
