Most parts of Sigatoka will be without water supply this weekend.

The Sedimentation unit No.2 will be cleaned in the same manner as this unit is also filled with mud as a result of recent flooding and needs to be cleaned in order to maintain a steady water supply.
In addition, the Master Meter Installation works in the pumping main will also be carried out in parallel to minimize numbers of disruptions.
Both works are expected to be completed by 5 pm on Friday.
However, supply is expected to be gradually restored from Friday afternoon up to Sunday morning.
Customers residing in the areas listed above are advised to store enough and use water wisely for their immediate needs during the period.
For water carting requests members of the public are to contact the Authority’s National Call Centre on 3346777 or 5777.
Water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.
The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
