A strong warning was given to new police recruits at the opening of the Basic Recruits Course of the Fiji Police Force today.
Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu told the 95 recruits that the police profession is about providing the best services to members of the public.
Tudravu said that the new police recruits that have made the cut from the thousands that were interviewed during the recruiting process.
Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu made his point clear on the Commissioner of Police expectation.
Tudravu has been with the Fiji Police Force for 36 years.
This morning he reminded the new recruits of what does it mean to be a police officer.
His message comes with a timely warning of what to expect in their 6 months of training.
Police officers from Tuvalu and Nauru are also part of this 6 months Basic Recruits Course
