As the nation counts down for this year’s Rugby World Cup, it is fitting enough that a song be produced for the Flying Fijians team.

And so during a conversation a few weeks back, the eight-member renowned  band, “One2Eight”, decided to write and produce a song called Rise  especially for the team

The music video was uploaded on social media recently, and noted much reactions in favour of the band’s initiative towards the song.

They say rugby unites a nation and so the song with its inspiring lyrics, is an the anthem to cheer on the team as they play at this year’s RWC.

Renowned artist and songwriter, Big Wilz says the feedback so far from the Public has been overwhelming.

“The song is dedicated to the boys, knowing they will make the nation proud- and that we will be cheering for them all throughout their games,” Wilz says.

Shot in various locations around Suva and Naitasiri, the music video captures the whole theme of supporting the boys. The song also includes Guest Artists.

The production took a couple of weeks to complete, that was in collaboration with Silkwaters and Noisy Oyster Production. The Production of the Music Video was done by Guru Media.
