6 political parties came together to raise their concern on their request made to the Electoral Commission for clarification.
SODELPA, NFP, Unity Fiji, PDP, Freedom Alliance and Fiji Labour Party held a press conference yesterday to highlight some of the issues they want the Electoral Commission to address.
According to the Parties, 19 issues were raised with the Electoral Commission and it remains unanswered.
The issues range from the refusal of the Electoral Commission to confirm party polling agents, provisional results announcement, time frame for lodging a dispute, confirmation of the 3 witnesses for Protocol of results, involvement of NADRA with elections and they remain concerned that the Supervisor of Elections still does not meet the minimum qualification.
Fiji Labor Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry says that these concerns have been around for sometime.
