No1Currency, the currency exchange brand of Fexco Pacific Ltd, today launched its multi-faceted program to rally support for the athletes that will represent Fiji in this year’s South Pacific Games in Samoa.
Fexco Pacific is a silver sponsor of the 2019 South Pacific Games where it will feature its very own brand of currency exchange service No1Currency.
“This sponsorship is a call to action for the business houses and corporates in Fiji, to highlight how the South Pacific Games is a pivotal event that celebrates the best in sports from all our Pacific Island countries,” said Feska Kostatino, General Manager of Fexco Fiji.
The retail network of No1Currency across the key markets in the Pacific will promote awareness of the Games with creative merchandising of its locations. In Fiji, all its locations in Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Sigatoka, Suva, and Nausori will be dressed up with Games paraphernalia.
A $5,000 FJD cash lottery promotion is also on offer for all customers of No1Currency who transact between 1st April to 15th June. The winner may use the prize to fly to Samoa to watch the grand Opening Ceremony of the Games on 7th July.
“This sponsorship of the Games in Samoa is an extended hand of partnership, where we are connecting our business and community stakeholders to rally behind the program, Kostatino continues.”
Steve Peregrino, Group Manager for Marketing and Business Development of Fexco Pacific, emphasized that “No1Currency is honoured to be a major sponsor of the 2019 Pacific Games. It is our privilege to collaborate with the organisers and the community to bring forth the best in our athletes. No1Currency honours the pursuit of excellence.”
Peregrino highlights that “we recognise the best in the Pacific and celebrate everything that is Number1 in the Pacific!”
To this end, No1Currency announced that its locations will be open for everyone to come in and give their support to Fiji athletes competing in the Games. They can do this by writing their well wishes on specially designed No1Currency message cards and have their photos and messages posted on social media to encourage widespread support.
Kostatino beams with pride in being able to lead the program in Fiji, “It will grow in momentum, where we give the people of Fiji and our customers the opportunity to share their messages and well wishes to the Fiji Team. “It’s no secret that Fiji is crazy about sports and the South Pacific Games is the echelon of events where we can influence great outcomes by supporting our competing men and women”.
“We invite everyone in Fiji visit our locations, go into the draw to win $5000 and also share your messages of support to the Fiji Team. Together we are celebrating the best in the Pacific.”
