Fiji Mens and Womens football teams will compete in more international events in 2019.
The Oceania Football Confederation Competition calendar will be jam-packed in 2019 with nine different competitions of differing lengths and stages that will see competitive regional football played from January through to December.
Fiji will for the first time host the OFC U-23 Championship next year with the games held in Lautoka and Suva.
Then a Fiji team will compete in the OFC Futsal Nations Cup – previously named the OFC Futsal Championship – which has been scheduled to take place in New Caledonia.
Meanwhile the Vodafone Fiji Womens team will take part in the OFC U-16 Women’s and U-19 Women’s Championships which will be hosted by New Zealand.
They will also take part in the Pacific Games football competition while Ba and Lautoka will represent Fiji at the OFC Champions League next year as they’ll get a chance to host few games.
