His first visit to Fiji will surely not be his last, Ireland President of the Methodist Church Designate is in Fiji, meeting with his fellow Fijian Counter-parts.
Reverend Sam McGuffin is here to form Partnership in mission and development.
During the week, he had the opportunity to also visit Bau and Viwa Island, both islands having some significant piece of history that is linked to Methodism.
McGuffin says its an absolute pleasure to be in Fiji for the very first time. He says issues discussed are on climate change and the environment.
He also met with the Fiji Council of Church General Secretary-Rev. Iliesa Naivalu to discuss new partnership for both conferences
He will assume his new Role as President of the Ireland Methodist Church next month.
