It was a proud moment for renowned  Local Artist-Warwick Marlow as he had the opportunity to showcase his artwork at the recent South Pacific Tourism Exchange event in Auckland New Zealand.

Warwick whose art shaped fish pieces, made from used plastic bottles were used as name tags during the event and worn by more than 300 delegates from around the world.

And there are plans to take his Art work to the various regional events in the upcoming months.

Marlow says through funding by the UNDP and the South Pacific Tourism Organization, he was able to provide training for about 15 women in Galoa Village as an income Generation for the women.

The art pieces have fallen in line with this years event theme: Sustainable Tourism Development-through people to people Connectivity
