11 Small Enterprise Operators were part of the one day Financial Literacy and Basic Business Skills Training for the first time in Suva today.
The training organized by the Fiji Council of Social Services is aimed at providing participants a complete Business plan to improve Business Knowledge, Practices and Revenues.
For 62 year old Venina Vakarusere of Vugalei Tailevu, who has been a Market Vendor at the Nausori Market for the past 37 years says you are never too old to learn from such trainings. She also encourages people out there to also get into farming as there are many financial benefits.
Accessing the Training for the first time was an opportunity Josaia Tuilaucala couldn’t miss since there are no such trainings available in the North. Tuilaucala who is a middleman for his seafood business back in his village hopes the training will up-grade his skills and Knowledge and allow him to get some form of Qualification to grow his business.
The Participants will be awarded Certificates after the one day training . The training is offered once every month at the FCOSS office in Suva.
