A man in his 50s is in police custody for his alleged involvement in a robbery at a restaurant located at the Damodar City Complex in Laucala Bay.
The robbery allegedly occurred sometimes between midnight to yesterday morning.
A report was lodged with Raiwaqa Police when cash worth up to $14,000 was discovered missing from the company safe 
A joint investigation task-force team comprising of officers from the Southern Division and CID Raiwaqa managed to identify the suspect from CCTV footage.
The suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon at Komave settlement where more than $800 in cash believed to have been stolen from the restaurant was found in his a possession.
Equipment believed to have been used to commit the robbery was also recovered from the suspect.
Investigations continue.
