The Fijian Competition & Consumer Commission (FCCC) teams are on the ground talking to members of the public as the inquiry into the Lagilagi Housing Project continues.
“Our teams are going house to house speaking to residents to ensure that we cover all issues affecting people and their families,” said CEO Joel Abraham.
The first phase of FCCC’s public inquiry into the project saw Abraham meeting with more than 200 people late into the evening to gather information on their issues firsthand.
Following positive response from the information gathering exercise, the FCCC has nowdeployed ground teams into Lagilagi Housing and surrounding areas to assess the situation on a more personal level.
“More than a 100 Fijians also turned up at our head office in Suva over the past few weeks with their complaints, encouraged by FCCC’s work on the ground at Jittu Road.”
Any person who has information or complaints regarding the Lagilagi Housing Project is encouraged to come forward.
You can contact the FCCC on 8921991 or visit the Head Office at 42 Gorrie St, Suva.
