“Every single Student that Graduates from the University is an Agent for Development”
This was the statement made by incoming USP Vice-Chancellor and President- Professor Pal Ahluwalia while speaking during a Media briefing this afternoon at the USP Campus.
He outlined some of his Major plans for the University on Research and Innovation Programs and hopes to leave a mark in Education in the Pacific.
He added for anyone to lead one of the biggest Regional Universities you yourself have to be a serious Scholar. He brings with him a wealth of Academic Experience, having spent 14 years as Politics Professor at the Adelaide University amongst his posting, he was also a Professor at UC San Diego.
One of his key visions is to also build on the Universities ranking in the world for the next 5 years. He began his Term on January 1st, 2019.
Currently there are about 26,000 Students enrolled at the USP Laucala Campus.
