The Chairperson and members of the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission have been appointed.
In accordance with section 45 subsection 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency the President Major General Retired Jioji Konrote has appointed them for a term of three years.
Honourable Justice Kamal Kumar is the Chairperson.
The members are Lanieta Tuimabu, Nicole Daniels, Sureni Perera and Pravesh Sharma.
In accordance with section 125 subsection 2 of the Constitution, His Excellency also appointed Nikita Patel and Shaenaz Voss as members of the Public Service Commission for a term of three years.
The appointments were made on the advice of the Constitutional Offices Commission, which held its meeting on Thursday.
