Gold Coast have confirmed the appointment of Justin Holbrook as the NRL club’s new head coach on a two-year deal.

Holbrook will replace the sacked Garth Brennan at the struggling Titans after the coach was shown the door mid-way through a horror season that has seen them slump to the bottom of the ladder.

Currently in charge of high-flying Super League outfit St Helens, Holbrook will arrive in November to begin preparing for the 2020 season.

The 43-year-old has spent the past two years at the English club, where he has won 79 per cent of his matches and claimed last year’s minor premiership.
