Fiji Mahogany is the Number One used Mahogany that we use in our Guitars.
This was Revealed by the Director of Supply Chain of Taylor Guitars-Charlie Redden last night at the Holiday Inn.
Redden says Taylor Guitar is the leading Acoustic Guitar maker in the World, certainly the biggest in the US and over recent years Taylor has taken more of a conscious Capitalism of how they can ensure the supply of the timber will be sustainable for the Future so that Future Generation can continue to play guitar.
Redden is in the country with his fellow counterparts garnering interest in our local Fiji Mahogany and Hardwood through Tabs Investments.
TABS Investments is a local company that competes to supply Fiji’s Mahogany to recognized world Leading Brands.
Also present last night was Fender Guitars Representative-Michael Born who represents the American Manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers. His company is also interested in our local mahogany for the productions of their Guitars.
Both Manufacturers are pleased to be part of this partnership having to see the Materials themselves and Hopes this is the beginning of a long-term Partnership with Tabs Investment.
