Rural Fijians on the island of Moala had the opportunity to take advantage of various government services on offer from Ministries and Departments.
The Moala roadshow opened by the Permanent Secretary for Rural and Maritime Development, Meleti Bainimarama is part of Government’s priority to take services offered by government and its partners closer to remote rural and maritime communities.
Speaking to the community who gathered at the Naroi Village grounds, Bainimarama reiterated Government’s commitment in addressing challenges faced by rural Fijians.
Bainimarama added the objective of the 3 day government roadshow is to bring services closer to the villagers and to allow them to make use of the advice and information offered by both Government officials and their development partners.
