President, Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konousi Konrote and his wife bid farewell to Fiji’s two new High Commissioners at the Borron house in Suva today.
 
Luke Daunivalu and Yogesh Punja are Fiji’s new High Commissioners to Australia and India respectively.
 
Both the diplomats are looking forward for their new roles and will be leaving for their respective missions soon.
 
Prior to his diplomatic appointment, Daunivalu was Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of Fiji to the United Nations.
 
Meanwhile, Yogesh Punja was Fiji’s High Commissioner to Australia prior to his appointment as Fiji’s High Commissioner to India.
 
The President passed on his well wishes to both the diplomats.
