The 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming will for the first-time be telecast live around the world.
Fiji Swimming and United States will host the championship here next month.
The event organisers have sealed the deal with Fiji Television Limited yesterday.
Fiji Swimming President Ben Rova is grateful for the partnership and said it is the major boost for the competition.
The Pan Pacific Charter Nations of Australia, Canada, Japan, and the United States are well established to be part of the nine countries.
Rova added the competition will also be a good testing ground for the national athletes as it will also determine where they stand on an international level.
Fiji Television Limited CEO Karen Lobendhan said they are grateful to be given the opportunity to showcase young talents in the sport around the world through live stream and it will also be televised live locally.
She said they are working very closely with the Fiji Sports Council for the preparation of the Damodar Aquatic Centre in Suva.
Fiji Swimming will be fielding a strong 38-member team for the Junior Pan Pacific Games hosted in Suva on August 23-27.
