Fiji is open to business.
This was the message delivered by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya during the New Zealand – Fiji Business Council Mission Trade and Investment Networking Cocktail.
Koya urged the Council to interconnect the two economies through trade and investment and create opportunities for growth.
“The Fijian Government has put in place long term, pro-growth stable policies in place. Fijian Government’s focus is also to ensure the strengthening of linkages between micro and small medium enterprises, larger businesses and foreign investors.
“Our economy has never been stronger or resilient than it is today. Our strong economic performance has been acknowledged by the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and Moody’s revised Fiji’s credit rating. We have great many export success stories, the Fijian made brand good and services are reaching the four corners of the world. Fiji is now the new business epicenter for business transactions,” Koya said.
