Two youth clubs in Moala were provided with farm tools to expand their farming projects by the Ministry of Youth and Sports recently.

Nacevuga and Nasoki Youth Clubs received assistance which included four knapsack sprayers, five digging forks, five spades and five cane knifes.

The Minister for Youth and Sports, Laisenia Tuitubou, urged the youth clubs to use the tools resourcefully and expand their farming projects.

Tuitubou adds organic agriculture creates productive landscapes as it successfully reconciles food production and security with environmental conservation.

The Minister further stated that such practices will also encourage youths from the maritime areas develop into entrepreneurs.
