Yesterday Defence Australia (ADF) provided air lift transport for the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) to their mission with the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.
The Royal Australian Air Force KC30 Aircraft departed Nadi with 170 RFMF personnel. Australia’s High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes, joined Commander RFMF, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto, in wishing the officers all the best.
The ADF will also be providing return air transport for the RFMF currently serving with the MFO in the Sinai, returning to Fiji next week.
Provision of air transport builds on the strong relationship and cooperation between the ADF and RFMF.
