It is important for drivers to undergo defensive driving course training that teaches safe and accident-free driving techniques.
This was the message by the Land transport Authorities road safety manager Timoci Satakala.
He commended the fifteen staff of Fulton Hogan hi ways who attended the DDC training conducted by LTA.
He says that the defensive driving classes will improve driving skills, reiterate driving laws and rules and make better drivers of people.
The DDC training programme is in three parts; one is for the new, group two drivers that have come in to the system; the second is for those who need public service vehicle licenses and the third is the practical part, where drivers drive on the road.
