Fiji National Rugby League has a newly appointed Coach who will be residing in Fiji for the next 3 years.
Former NRL player Brandon Costin is excited for the new role and is looking forward to working with Men and Women Rugby League in the country.
Brandon Costin is no stranger in the NRL arena, he played 136 ARL/NRL games for South Sydney, Western Suburbs, Sydney Roosters and Canberra before finishing his top-flight career in England.
His new role was announced during the launch of the 2019 Rugby League Cup Competition.
Costin said that he is excited for the new role and is looking forward to making an impact in players here in Fiji.
Costin adds that helping develop the game will only be possible through working with the local coaches and local talents.
Costin has had the chance to meet the captains of each of the local club league teams and will eyeing for talents in these clubs.
There are 15 registered teams that will be competing for the 2019 Rugby League Cup Competition this year.
