Consumers should be able to Compare Prizes of books and stationery when they’re out shopping so they can be able to Purchase the best goods fro their Children.
This was the Advice from the Consumer Council of Fiji as a New School Term officially begins Today across the country.
Consumer Council’s Manager for Alternative Dispute Resolution-Pooja Singh Chand said:
“The advice we would like to give the Consumers in Fiji is to compare prizes of stationery and books when they’re out shopping so that they can get the best benefits out of the goods they will purchase. The advice we’d like to tell Consumers is to retain a copy of their receipt in any event they face any issue with the product they have bought from the Traders. They can also lodge their concerns at the Council”
The Council also received a Total of 3,432 Complaints from January to December, 2018 from their Suva, Lautoka and Labasa office.
Most of the complaints received by the Council range from Tenants and Landlord issues, Mobile Products sold in Fiji, and the Farm Care and Home Care Initiative.
