Minister for Forestry  Osea Naiqamu together with the University of the South Pacific launched the first ever Colo-i-Suva Forest Park Wildlife book at the Fiji Museum in Suva.

The launching of the book is a much necessary foundation for environmental and educational awareness for students, members of the public, tourists and researchers.

“The book intends to provide a visitor to the park with an enriching experience in better knowing and appreciating its wildlife,”  Naiqamu said.

The book is a snapshot view of Fiji’s conservation of the flora and fauna and how the conservation of Colo-i-Suva forest has led to the rich biodiversity that exists within this Forest Park.
