Representing Fiji will never happen again for weightlifter Eileen Cikamatana.
The 19 year old from Taviya, Levuka, Ovalau has revealed this to Fiji One News through an email.
Cikamatana has confirmed that she is in the process of becoming a citizen of another country.
In the email , Cikamatamana said the damage is too severe to be mended and she has no intention any longer to compete for Weightlifting Fiji.
The Commonwealth gold medalist said she may miss out on the Olympics but what Weightlifting Fiji has done to her is unrepairable.
Cikamatana said she has done her part for Fiji in the sport.
The former Saint Johns College student resigned from all Weightlifiting Fiji activities on the 25th of June this year.
She along with Levuka weightlifters boycotted the Oceania Championship in New Caledonia in June this year.
Meanwhile, Fiji Sports Commission Chairman Peter Mazey who has been having dialogue sessions with Levuka weightlifting and Weightlifting Fiji said the national body has now agreed to meet with all of the athletes to work out a way to get everyone back to training and representing Fiji.
But weightlifting Fiji had certain conditions to be met and these are to be up for discussion during the upcoming meeting to be arranged by the General Secretary of Weightlifting Fiji.
The proposed meeting is expected to take place next month.
