Cronulla back-rower Jayson Bukuya has signed a new two-year deal which will keep him at the Sharks until the end of 2020.

A member of the Sharks’ 2016 premiership side, Bukuya has played 114 games for the club since debuting as a 19-year-old in 2008. He also played 18 NRL games for the Warriors in one season in New Zealand in 2014 before returning to Cronulla in 2015.

Raiders five-eighth Blake Austin will head to England next season after signing a three-year deal with the Warrington Wolves.

Austin has struggled to cement a starting spot at Canberra this season, although he did play a starring role off the bench in their comeback win over the Bulldogs in round 17.

The Bulldogs will lose centre Josh Morris to the Cronulla Sharks next season as Canterbury looks to get their salary cap situation under control, with the Sharks snapping up the former Test centre on a two-year contract.

St George Illawarra Dragons prop Leeson Ah Mau will join the Warriors next season on a three-year deal.

The 29-year-old Samoa international will return to the club where he made his NRL debut in 2009.

Former Raiders, Roosters and Sharks playmaker Todd Carney is set to return to the English Super League after reportedly agreeing to join Hull KR with immediate effect.

The Hull Daily Mail has reported that Carney will link up with former Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens at Hull KR for the rest of the season, after an attempted move to the North Sydney Bears fell through.

Carney is one of several players heading north with Warriors centre Anthony Gelling signing a two-year deal with Super League club Widnes Vikings, and Jackson Hastings looking set to revive his playing career in the Super League with Salford after his controversial exit from Manly.

Meanwhile Blake Ferguson is off to the Parramatta Eels and Tim Grant will return to the Penrith Panthers.
